Toronto, Ontario. June 27, 2017 – Cobalt 27 Capital Corp. (TSX.V – KBLT) (the “Company” or “Cobalt 27”) announces that Ted Miller has agreed to serve on the Company’s advisory board.
Ted Miller is Ford's Senior Manager of Energy Storage and Materials Strategy and Research. His team is responsible for energy storage strategy, research and development for all Ford hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and battery electric vehicles.
Mr. Miller's team supports global prototype and production vehicle development programs. They are involved in every aspect of energy storage design and use from raw materials to end -of-life recycling. His team also sponsors collaborative energy storage research projects at Stanford, MIT, Ohio State University, Michigan State University, the University of Michigan, where they also sponsored the development of a battery fabrication and characterization lab which opened in October of 2015, and many other major universities worldwide. Mr. Miller is the Ford representative to the United States Advanced Battery Consortium Management Committee.
Mr. Miller joins Dr. Patil, Robert Mitchell, Phil Day, Andrew Ferguson, Stephen Gill, Vincent Metcalfe, Mark Selby and Neil Warburton on the Company’s Advisory Board.
Cobalt 27 is pleased to announce that its application to the Cobalt Development Institute (“CDI”) has been accepted and the Company is now a member. In accepting membership the Company is committed to all of CDI’s principles and objectives including “Promoting the responsible sourcing and use of cobalt in all forms.” The CDI is the cobalt industry’s leading non-profit trade association composed of producers, users, recyclers, and traders of cobalt. They promote the sustainable and responsible production and use of cobalt in all its forms.
The Company is also pleased to announce that its Chairman & CEO, Anthony Milewski, has accepted an invitation to join the London Metal Exchange’s Cobalt Committee as a member.
